Last month I got notice that my web host was going out of business. The notion of creating a new website felt like a misuse of time as I no longer have much of an interest in selling my art. I find my work as Peer Support Specialist (facilitating art as therapy groups) far more rewarding than selling art. I continue my own studio practice, but my focus has shifted to creating curriculum. Any visual work I create is my own therapeutic outpouring.
I do have a compulsion to edit and organize my work recently. So, in lieu of a traditional gallery site, I will be posting art as I organize my archives. There will be no order and very little (if any) context for the work I post here. This makes far more sense than one might think, as my truest love is collage.
Collage is the noble conquest of the irrational, the coupling of two realities, irreconcilable in appearance, upon a plane which apparently does not suit them.
